Angry How do I find a short in the wiring, that has literally drained my battery

Ok, here's my problem. I've installed a pair of headlights, tail lights, put new bulbs in each, also installing a new sound system. I took the driver side door apart to install the new speaker. While doing that, I pushed the diver side seat controls. It must have shorted out the aftermarket head deack. Cuz now it has drained out the battery. My question is how do I find a short in the wiring?

Disconnect battery, fully charge it.
Leave negative terminal off battery, put volt meter on a very low amp scale between battery, and cable.
See how much draw you have.
Start yanking fuses, one at a time, and see which fuse makes the draw drop the most.
That circuit will be the one you want to trace, and see what's happening.

Having good wiring diagrams for this exercise is a must.
