last year my a/c compressor was not working but yet the light stayed on like it was. i replaced a/c with a new compressor,accumalator and high pressure line now my question is do i need to replace the pressure switch i see only one by the compressor someone said their might be two. my truck is a 2006 dodge mega cab 5.9 diesel 4x4. the light on the dash will it go out if the a/c is not working.

 

No. The light lets you know the button has been pushed.

 

Thanks, but is there only one pressure switch or two I heard both but don't know and would you replace them
