Default New tires

Just got my new tires put on from tiretack.com they are Pirelli Scorpion 275/55/20 and thy look good. Slight dpwn size from factory 275/60/20 and they look great, a rear end drop would help a little however. All that space is now slightly highlighted but the online price was impossible to pass up. I also had the installers put the white letters out and I like it so far. Pep Boys could not intall because the new tires had such a stiff sidewall. I had to go to NTB where they had a compressed air tank/cannon thing to set the bead. Overall I still saved abot $70 even with shipping and install over what Pep Boys had Hankook tires for sale and install. Make sure your tire dealer can actually install the tires they are selling. I saved buying rubber online look into it if you are due.

Pirelli's arent bad tires. It sounds like you got a good deal. I know how the extra space is. I went with some Kumho's on my Dakota, and while they were the proper size, the low profile of the tire just looked weird.

I dont know that I would have went with those lower profile on a tire of that size, but again, you gotta take the best deal if you are happy with them!

Sounds great. Do you have any pics? How's the handling, ride etc with the new tires?
