Default Were to wire to.

Ok so I am on my local fire department. Looking at the state laws for nebraska I can have red/blue lights and strobes when going to calls. So i got a dash light which is red/blue. I also just got strobe lights for the head and tail lights. I got the kit just thinking of how I would hook up the power supply. What would I tie it into? The red/black wires that are exposed at the end are to short to go to the battery/fuse box. So would i tie it into say the headlight switch? Or somewhere else?

If you need constant-hot, go direct to the battery using a switch and relays. If you want switched hot, under the steering wheel behind the knee bolster is a lime green wire with a black stripe. It's a switched hot. DON'T forget the fuses, unless you need some more fire-fighting experience.
