Default Any bad results from Torsion keys leveling kits?

I am about to level out my truck. Either by turning the torsion screws or installing the aftermarket keys.

Anybody done this and have problems afterward? I have yet to find any informaiton on problems.

If you think about it though, you are changing drive line angles. Which is really bad without compensation.

Any experiences would be appreciated.

Nothing immediately. All of the bad is long term wear issues.

I dropped the rear 1.5" and raised the front a little with the torsion bars to level it. The change in drive angle is so small, it won't matter.

I turned the torsion bars on my 05. If you search for it you can find it. I took pics before and after of driveline angles and stuff. I believe it was 5 turns on the drivers side, and 4.75 on the passenger side. Lifted it about an inch and a half. Not quite level but closer. I didnt want to go to much because of the long term wear issues.

I should rephrase my question. I am really wondering what is the long term effects. Has anybody gone 2" up and smoked the ball joints after 20k miles? I'm going to do it anyway just trying to figure out what to prepare for.

On the same subject, it looks like 35" x 12.5" on 17's will fit with the torsion bars cranked. There is so much room in the wheel wells.

I am going to crank the torsion bars the 5 turns (about a inch and a half) and try to fit 325/50/22 Terra Nitto Grapplers under it. approx. a 35" tire. Going about an inch or 1.5" shouldn't have to replace the stock shocks, but any higher than that and I would...

I took mine up 2 and a half inches with keys and adjusting the bars. I don't have alot of miles on it but it's been about a year with no problems at all. No difference in ride quality either.

MPD, how many miles have you put on in the last year? Is there any unusual slope in the steering or front suspension?
