Default 08 2500 crew cab A/C problem

Hey guys,
Ive been having the problem where my ac will be blowing on high then for no reason at all it will quit blowing all together or just lightly blow. I've checked the recirculating panel as mentioned In other posts and seems to be working fine. I'm just looking for help or ideas. Thanks for reading my post.

If it is only working on high, could be blower motor resistor

Will a new blower motor fix that problem or is the resistor a separate part??

Try the resistor first about $35.00.
Check for burnt wires on the connector to the resistor. There is high resistance and current drawn on the resistor to change the speeds and is known to sometimes melt the connector/wires on the plug.
Make sure the fresh air door is not broken and fallen onto the blower motor.

You can also hot wire the motor and see if it runs at full speed for a bit. Give it a fer minutes and a few jolts to see if it changes speed.

good luck
