I use Government Gas in California, and Shell in Rhode Island. It's basically what's closest to me, I don't know how the Shell runs in the Ram, since it hasn't been home yet.

Just make sure you use at least the manufacturer's recommendation for fuel, there is a reason the manufacturer recommends a certain fuel. For the turbo, yeah 93 is going to be needed, I haven't seen an aftermarket turbo kit for any vehicle that didn't need Premium Fuel

I wish fuel was only $1.89, in the 2 years I've been in California, I've never seen it that low, right now it's $2.41 for 87 and $2.51 for 89 on Base where we don't pay taxes

I work for a major oil co. Gas is gas. It's all the same. All gas has benzene and sulphur. the gov't sets the specs on gas and everyone has to folow these. The only difference betwwen brands is the additive, and even then they are only varied slightly so that the particular oil co. can market it as "their" gas

I agree, gas is gas. It all comes through the same pipeline. The only concern is when it goes bad in the tank at the station. My buddy got bad gas at a mobile in his explorer and then in his crotch rocket, two days apart same station. Also, remember never fill up when the tanker is pumping into the holding tanks or is pulling out of the station. The turbulence of filling up swirls all the seditives that may be in the tank and you then pump them into your truck.

I only use BP Amoco 89 octane. Every 3000 miles I'll fill my rig with 93 octane and throw in some octane booster to clean my sytem. I haven't had any problems with BP gas.

I live in Greenville, SC and there are Spinx gas stations (Sunoco) all over the place, so I guess that mean Sunoco 89 octane. I also tend to visit the busier and newer gas stations in an attempt (successful or not) to keep tank sediment at a minimum.
