Default what brand of gas??

all gas prices are pretty much the same out here as well as anywhere else, but what brand of gas should i use or is there a differance? ive gone to chevron and use their premium more often that not
and at $2.67 its not bad for around here for a gallon. but some times those thrifty gas stations look tempting but worry about quality? what do you guys use out there??

I've just used mid-grade without being too picky about the brand and never gotten any "bad" gas yet. I can't tell any difference between brands.

The only place I stay away from is HotSpot in GA. I usually use BP, Amoco, most of the big names.

In Texas - or around Dallas anyway - gas is gas. i have only had bad experiences with major retailers twice in as far as I can remember - Race Track and Shell. I still use Race Track but I'm still gun shy when it comes to Shell. Of course this was before they merged with Texaco.

We have one "thrifty" station in Kaufmen that used to be cheaper than everyone else. They told me they buy from major gas retailers but shop around for the cheapest price each time so that is why they have no affiliation. You can take it or leave it I guess. I used them and did not have any problems.

I use Kroger gas. Not exactly sure of which brand they use, but have never had a problem. And since I shop there regularly the more you spend the more you get off a gallon. I spent $750 there last month and got .50 off each gallon for 4 fillups.

I try to only use Sunoco. I use the 93 because of the turbo.

They use zero, nada middle eastern oil.

They also make the best race gas.

Sunoco also removes all benzene and sulfur for there gasoline. What are you using premium on. If it's a Hemi I use 87 octane and it runs very well in my Quad cab 4x4 Hemi.

I try to pick the busiest stations in my area. Personally, I don't like going to a station where the gas sits in their bulk tanks too long. But then again, there isn't much choice where I live. wished there was a Sunoco here.

SilverEagle, I have a 5.7 Hemi, but I also have the STS turbo so I need the octane to keep it from detonating. I tried lower than 93 octane and it pinged.
