I have a 2002 1500 4.7. The body is totally rusted out. I am looking at purchasing a 2004 with a blown motor. Can someone tell me if the 2002 motor will swap easily into the 2004?

 

If memory serves the 02 has a different tooth count on the crank. You'll need to compare them, if it's the same count then you're good to go because everything else is pretty much the same. If it isn't your 02 ECM won't run it.
