Default Choosing correct sized rims

Hey all, I recently bought an 06 2500 Megacab, it has a 2.5in leveling kit installed. I.m looking to change the rims and tires soon and I.m looking at Fuel Mavericks. Any advice on what backspacing would not rub and I'm looking at getting 20's for it. Its got fender flares on it and I am wanting the wheels to come out past the flares a bit. It pretty much has stock sized wheels on it. Not looking to cram 35s under it but would like 33s.

What wheel width are you looking at? (tire manufacturers have recommendations for wheel width for tires of any particular size.....)

How wide are the stock wheels? (or, at least, the ones that are on there now.....)

What is the current backspacing?

I am unsure what the current backspacing is but they are a 18x9 i believe. I am wanting to go to either a width of 10 or 12.

10's would prolly be fine, 12's I think you are going to have trouble getting some that don't rub somewhere. Go with 10's, stick with the same backspacing as your current wheels.

The same offset on a different width wheel is going to give you a different backspacing.

Running the math, it appears that your backspacing is about 3.8 inches. (or, more likely, 3 and 3/4 inch.) So, 4 inch backspacing on a 10" wheel will stick 'em out just a bit further. Less backspacing will put them further out in the wheel well.
