Question Super 40 Flowmaster for a 2005 Dodge Ram

Considering putting a Super 40 Flowmaster on my 2005 Dodge Ram that has a 4.7. Would this be normal, loud or very loud on the inside of my truck. I want to go with FLOWMASTER. Just not sure which series to use. Thanks.

Check out some of the sound clips on youtube for the various flowmaster mufflers. If you still have cats on there, I suspect that even with a friggin glasspack, it won't really be that loud.

Loud and tons of drone. Magnaflow is better.

depending on where you live, if there is a high salt content do to winter, they rot out fast, 3 yrs tops I had mine, go with magnaflow, better all around muffler and much nicer tone. I stopped using junkmaster after my third muffler crapped out in under 10 yrs.

What MAGNAFLOW muffler would you recommend for my truck? I am looking for one that is loud enough to hear but will not drown out my conversation in the truck. Any advise would be greatly appreciated..

I have 50's on my '05 with a 4.7L. Nice low rumble during normal driving, but sounds great when you tromp on it.

I will agree they can rot out in areas with winter salt on the roads though.
