Anyone else have issues with 7 pin round trailer plug? I have running lights and right hand turn. 04, 1500, 5.7, qc, 4x4.

When's the last time you used it? On mine, the terminals in the plug corroded, and wouldn't make good contact.

Also, dodge is FAMOUS for using cheap splice connectors where the trailer harness ties into the main rear harness, that's the next place I would look.

I don't think I have ever used it. I am going camping this weekend and thought I would try the lights out when hooked to the camper. I pulled the 8 position plug off of the back of the 7 pin round connector. Using a test light, I get running lights, 12 volt feed, and right turn. Same ecact scenario for the 4 flat.

Check the connector where the trailer harness hits the rear light harness.
