Confused 05'Ram changed the A/C compressor now codes p0243,p0480-
5.9lCummins turbo- Change the A/C compressor with batteries disconnected when I finished started up just fine, but lots of codes, thought it could be the batteries Wife drove it said it lacked power.Next day truck was dead, lots of codes.Battery check, both bad, replaced both and the air intake charge temp sensor with a questionable one with a very lose element from rockauto because I was sure I got the old one wet ,now down to 2 codes P0243,P0480(Fan clutch,Waste gate solenoid malfunction)Truck starts and runs fine, but gutless and if I push it ,it will overheat-only have 70k on this truck first I checked continuity at the fan clutch plug it was good and replaced WGS plug with soldered connections considering must likely because it is next to the A/C compressor plug- no help-Can the battery problem damage the ECM,or the 2 components in question ?

Not likely. Does the A/C work? Is it possible to switch those two plugs? Is there another connector further back on the harness somewhere that may have been unplugged? Harness get pinched anywhere??
A/C works great and the plugs aren't interchangeable .I've checked the harness even continuity at the clutch fan plug, also for any rubbing on the harness as I've seen on some videos.I've ordered a new solenoid (seemed very little movement when I hot wired)Heard one guy say the clutch fan was a joke code when the WGS goes out.I know it would be a strange coincidence to have them go out after a compressor change, but figure it's worth a shot.I'm color blind hope I don't have to chase specific wires. Thanks for the answer back
