Default 2004 Rumble Bee to 2500 have

I Have looked up and searched forums and people talk crap to these people wanting to do this. I’m doing this. Just looking for someone who has done this. Thanks

So I took my Rumble Bee. Made it a “bro runner” well I t boned someone due to them running a red light.

The ruck is already lifted in the front but I want to change from 1500 to 2500 in the front. How far in do I need to go?

So here is what I want to do.

Parts I have so far for 2500 suspension:
Front hubs
Front Calipers and mounting brackets
Rotors and pads

Well so far the I have found out I need a new knuckle I know for sure as well.

What I need help on is I’m almost positive I need different ball joints as well.

Million dollar question now is A-arms.

Can I use the 1500 ones just fine? Or do I need to get 2500 ones as well and if so bolting it up what goes on there?

TIA

Nick

I suspect you will need the control arms as well, to accommodate the larger balljoints.

yeah I’m pretty sure too. I can see the ball and socket bigger. But I can see the bolt holes match up just fine then I can see mounting to a-arm can also be thicker.

Good thing I have another 1500 I can throw this lift kit on and then put a 2500 kit on it. BUT I think I’ll be able to use the lift support for the bottom a-arms. Talked to a couple of fabricators for them and they say it’s the same. Well I’ll i was told that before as well.

I guess im the monkey then here. I’m sure someone has done it. Just got to wait for the chime in.
