Default Need help

Hi new to the site I join for info from the best long story short I have many dodge cars and pickups question I have today is I just put a motor in 2004 ram 1500 5.7 the motor I put in was running with no issues now that I have it all buttoned up it turns over but won’t fire .question I have does motor find it’s on timing question 2 should I be able to hear fuel pump start when I turn key question 3 what the hell did I do wrong lol any help is much appreciated

Fuel pump should prime when you first turn the key on, then stop. If the PCM sees the engine cranking (cam or crank sensor signal) it's turn the pump back on.
Timing is completely controlled by the PCM, there is no adjustments.
Pinch a wiring harness when you were finishing it off? Knock the connector off some critical sensor?

Thanks Hey you I never pinched anything and I have plugged in every connector I hope but I don’t hear fuel pump and truck has been sitting for a few years till I bought a donor truck same year just for the motor and parts . How do I know it’s getting fuel pressure cause to me seems to be the issue thanks for any info.

Do you hear the fuel pump relay click when you first turn the key? It may be that you did everything right, and the pump just died.

Sorry took so long but I am back different issue now I did put in new fuel pump has lots of pressure on rails now I’m getting codes P2122 p0335 p2135 p0642 so I went though them change throttle control changed the crankshaft sensor changed throttle body no difference keep getting same codes and just turns over checked all fuses now don’t know what to do next
