Need help
Hi new to the site I join for info from the best long story short I have many dodge cars and pickups question I have today is I just put a motor in 2004 ram 1500 5.7 the motor I put in was running with no issues now that I have it all buttoned up it turns over but won’t fire .question I have does motor find it’s on timing question 2 should I be able to hear fuel pump start when I turn key question 3 what the hell did I do wrong lol any help is much appreciated
Fuel pump should prime when you first turn the key on, then stop. If the PCM sees the engine cranking (cam or crank sensor signal) it's turn the pump back on.
Timing is completely controlled by the PCM, there is no adjustments.
Pinch a wiring harness when you were finishing it off? Knock the connector off some critical sensor?
Going to move this to third gen ram section for ya. Welcome to DF!
