2008 Power Wagon 5.7
Evening all,
Looking to pick some brains! I have a 2008 power wagon with a couple issues. I'll list them for advice And if you could even provide answers on 1 I'd greatly appreciate it!!.
-disable horn? Manual shows hold lick for more than 4 secs less than 10 secs and hit panic button but it doesn't work. Want to disable it for when I lock it.
- when I use the power locks button or remote it doesn't work for the back two crew cab doors.
-16500 lbs warm winch just "clunks" I'm thinking it's the solenoid? It hasn't been used in 7 years.
-lastly I use it for hunting And the check engine light is on and I took it in and they said I need new cats. No interest in doing that but I was curious if I can permanently delete the code so my engine light goes off so I can use my command start?

No idea on the power locks. Truck is too new for me to know anything. 
Probably the motor in the winch is seized up. Verify you are getting power thru the solenoid, and to the winch motor. If you are, might be able to just open it up, clean it up, and have it work again.
How many miles on the truck, and are the O2's original? If it is whining about 'cat efficiency', might be able to do the non-fouler trick on the rear O2's, clear the code, and it should stay gone. However, if it IS whining about the cats, you need to either replace them, or cut 'em out, and put in pipes, and then still do the non-fouler trick..... You would need someone to write a custom tune to turn off that particular code, and that runs around 500 or so these days.
