Default Overheating issues even though antifreeze tank is full

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7L truck. It began overheating, even though the antifreeze tank is full. The 'check gauges' light goes off intermittently, and there is also an intermittent squealing noise (sounds like a serpentine belt type squeal, but the belt looks new and appears to be working properly. Any ideas on what the issue could be would be greatly appreciated

Check the radiator when the engine is cold. Make sure IT is full.

By the sreeching sound you are describing i would check the water pump. There is a weep hole that will start leaking when it goes out. The water my be coming out of there and getting the pulley wet.

I had the same thing happen awhile back and had to replace my radiator due to it being clogged. At operating temp check to see if radiator has both hot and cold area. I think mine clogged due to using stopleak too many times. Was trying to seal a leaky water pump gasket.

I had this problem earlier this summer. Not only was the water pump slightly leaking from the weep hole, but the fan clutch was bad as well. Manufacturers recommend they be replaced as a set, which I did so as not to have to dive under the hood again.
