08 dodge ram mega cab dully 6 speed g-56 trans. when i drive it and shift from 3rd. to4th.@5th. if i really pour the coal to the engine.( increase the r.p.m. push on the throttle) my truck makes a growling noise such as gear growl then my A.B.S. LITE @BRAKE LITE! comes on.that is the problem. i took my truck to a shop to get diagnosed and it is not my trans. he plugged in his snapon dio.reader to my trucks dio.port ( diagnostic port) we took the truck for a drive accelerated shifted gears trying to make the noise happen and it wouldn't happen as long as his dio. reader was plugged in as soon as he un plugged it and went thru the gears the gear growl noise came back and the A.B.S.lite@brake lite came back on why by plugging in the dio reader did the noise go away?
