I just bought a 05 ram With a 3.92 rear end but no "anti spin" differential. ive been looking all over the internet for a way to take the old gear out of the axle and put in and L.S.D setup.. But im not sure i can.. Im hoping i dont have to buy a whole new axle.. i asked the dealer if they could throw one in for free and they said it was to big of a job. so all i got out of the deal was a crappy aftermarket sliding rear window that leaks.... So what can i do to get some lsd..

There are a couple out there. Just be sure that you let an experienced axle shop do the set up. Matter of fact, if you call said axle shop, they should be able to tell you more than I'd be able to and give you installation price to boot.

I'd also get the stealership to fix your leaking rear window. Is it a Dodge piece or is it truly aftermarket?

 

thanks.. ill call around to a few shops.. The window is aftermarket but i called the dealer and they told me for a $150 they would put in a factory one or fix the old one for free. so i talked to the sales manager and told him my story and he said he will see what he can do. Then my salesman called me and told me he pulled some stings and got the window for free...... yeah sure..... i realy hate car salesman
