I have 20K to invest in a tow vehicle and I'm wondering should I get a 02-03 5.9L or use the $20,000 as a down payment on a new 3500 it'll take me years to pay off? I guess I'm asking is the older 5.9 worth investing the money?

 

Get a newer third, or fourth gen truck with the Hemi. Much better engine than the old 5.9. More power, more reliable, better fuel economy, more aftermarket support.
