Default Swapped pcm

Hello. I swapped my pcm today I changed motors I had a 2005 5.7 I put in a 2004 5.7 I started it wit the 05 pcm it read multiple misfires and crankshaft position sensor a. I thought it was the computer so I put the 04 pcm in and now it starts and stalls right away. I got it to start with 05 pcm but it also took a minute to start. Tried resetting the pcm with the seatbelt fuse pulled and hold key till it chimes. No difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Don't swap PCM's. You most likely have SKIM (is your key black or gray?) and you actually run the risk of screwing that up and locking one or both PCM's. Most likely the sensor on the 04 engine was bad (always replace with new or swap over your known good sensors). 04 and 05 5.7 themselves are physically identical.

My key is grey And okay didn’t know it would screw up I put the 05 back on the original and it starts so I’ll clear the code and try the new sensors. Also It took awhile to start once I tried starting it the first time would that be why it took a bit to start was bc the sensor might of been bad Thank you
what is SKIM?

Yep, gray key has a chip. SKIM = Sentry Key Immobilizer Module. It is coded to your VIN and PCM. It cannot be reinitialized to another PCM once mated. If your cam sensor was bad yeah, that can cause hard starting and irregular operation.
