Default 06 ram lighting

So i got a new light bar set that came with 4 led pods . im hoping to put 2 of them where the fog lights are at but im not sure if i can just wire them into the OEM fog light wiring or if I need to run my own wiring with a new fuse. pods are 18W 9-32V 4" pods.

That would depend on the current draw of the pods compared to the stock lights.

462 watts at 12 VDC is 38.5 amps.....Yes, you will need to run separate wires, relays and switch. Hefty wire, hefty relay, hefty switch....if you plan on turning them all on at the same time. Thats a crap ton of light.....probably going to need to beef up your alternator as well, if there is one capable of handling that much.

Edit, I see it comes with a harness. Yes, use that. Stock wiring wont handle it.

I highly doubt it draws 38 amps seeing how the kit comes with a 30 amp fuse. Probably draws less than 20.
I agree with your math, but why would there only be a 30 amp fuse? Doesn’t add up!

I assume because the supplier does not expect all to be on at the same time? OP does not mention if he would do that, so the 38.5 amps would be worst case scenario.
