2006 dodge ram with hemi

Default 2006 dodge ram with hemi

truck starts but will not idle i have changed egr valve but that didn't work. any suggestions or anyone had this problem before?

Any codes? Last tune up? Mileage? Need more information.

no codes. just did tune up, 203000, it will start but dies right after start up i have changed egr valve. it ran fine until one day it started doing what its doing.

its a 2006 dodge 1500 with 5.7 hemi

Disconnect negative battery lead for a couple minutes, then try starting. Your transponder in the column may not be communicating with your key.

Most likely not that, he's probably tried this a few times. If SKIM doesn't get a good signal and shuts off the engine, after a few tries it would lock the PCM and then it wouldn't start. I'm assuming you did plugs as well, were all the coils seated properly? Also lack of idle sounds like you might have knocked a hose loose doing the plugs, check the hose going from the intake manifold to the power brake booster.
