Default Head unit upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my head unit in my '06 Ram 1500. It has the stock OEM unit. Can I upgrade to one with NAV, Bluetooth capable, satellite radio, rear camera? Which brand? Attached pic is what I have now.

Depends on how much you want to spend. You can go factory, which is probably your most expensive option. I personally like Alpine, and they have a ton of features. Some of their rails allow you to add 8 switches (for a winch, lightbars, etc) right into the radio

You could do a MyGig retrofit, depending on where you get yours and the adapter harness required it may be the most expensive option but it will work like factory. If you find a 730N it will have all the capabilities you want plus an internal hard drive you can load pics, music, movies on to.
Basically this (cheaper ones can be found): https://www.infotainment.com/product...RoC6EEQAvD_BwE
And this to make it work in your 06: http://www.coastaletech.com/MYGIG_ADAPTER.htm
I've done this to both my 05 Magnum and 06 Charger and it's one of the best mods I've done. I'd put on in my truck (03 Ram) but they don't adapt CAN bus to PCI bus. Side benefits with the lockpick you don't have to be parked to input nav destinations plus you can rig up multiple cameras, not just rear.
