New EGR installed, disconnected battery, started up and no light so far. See what happens. Also noticed build up in hole in block for egr once i removed. cleaned out with tool and rag with brake clean then with air. Will advise in a week if light doesn't come on.

you realize when you call a dealership your not speaking to the mechanics. if it worked for you great, it doesn't for all models. if you had a scan tool you could check the i/m monitor...its possible the monitor ran and passed and this cleared the code.

Yes I know the service advisors there been dealing with them for 10 years. Not saying they know everything and I too avoid dealers when at all possible. With my lifetime power trane warranty I have no choice then to deal with them for free work being done. Already used the warranty a few times. Life saver. Its been 4 days of driving and still no light. I really hope this issue is fixed. Thanks for reading my post

7 days later still no light on. Very happy that I fixed the issue.

Just passed inspection guess there are no stored codes. Good to go here. Just in case any of you guys are wondering I started with an aftermarket EGR with no fix to my check engine light and ended up with a Mopar which fixed the problem.
