Default Heater control problem

2007 Ram 1500. Single zone hvac system. Recently, I have noticed a problem with the temperature control. It works great at full hot or full cold but in between is erratic. If I go from full heat to anything but full cold, the air will blow warm. It I go to full cold and then gradually increase to warm, the temperature coincides correctly with the selection. I have replaced the evaporator and heater core along with heater treater doors 2 years ago. I pulled the heater box recently when the temperature problem started and replaced all the doors again with heater treater doors. Replaced the blend door actuator and also tried a different heater control unit. I can see the blend door actuator is functioning properly. The problem still persists. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Thanks

So when you slide it to cold, and then move it gradually warmer it works fine? If that’s the case, just do that. Why bother trying to chase down a problem that may not exist. Probably why you didn’t get any replies.
