2002 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 L Gas
I Have A 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 5.9L Engine.I Supposedly Lost The Computer In The Vehicle;It Would Not Start,Etc. I Purchased A Computer From An Auto Recycler,From The Same Type Truck,Same Part #`s As Original Computer.After Installing,It Would Start And Run For 5 Secs,Then Stop. I Have A Computer From A 1997 Dodge Ram,5.2 L Engine .When I Plug This In,The Truck Will Start Fine But No Guages Are Working.I Then Ordered A Computer From Stateside Programmed For My Truck But Nothing Happens:No Start,No Guages,Etc. Anyone Have Any Ideas About What Could Be Happening? Thanks In Advance.

New pcm vin programmed New iac New tps New spark plugs truck will not idle does not die start driving runs great till I stop then starts spitting and sputtering any ideas would be great

the 97 has different sensors the pcm tries to read so this won’t work…
have you verified that the harness connectors has no pulled pins or damaged wires? Why did you replace in the first place
