Default Valve spring compressor

Does anyone know where I can get a valve spring compressor tool for a 5.7 Hemi at a reasonable price? Even if its used i would be good. It seems like a lot of money ($200) for a one time use tool. Thanks for the help.

Nothing comes up in amazon that is available or specific to the Hemi.
I checked Crane cams and it seems they no longer make the tool and Summit no longer carries the tool. I even reached out to a guy on the forum that used to make them but no success.
I have heard horror stories with people using universal valve tools without success.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

one.

There is also this style, which I have used in the past.... works pretty good.

This one is easier on the fingers......

Lotsa different styles on Summit as well.

Helpful hint: Buy the right tool for the job. Sure, you're spending $200 for a tool you'll use once, but you'll save a lot of time and aggravation doing so. Don't forget you'll have the option to sell the tool to recoupe some of your cost. I went through this with my Mazda when I forked over $220 for a bushing press for Ford/Volvo/Mazda trailing arms. Most guys spend a lot of time trying to rig up something to press the bushings but don't take into consideration the bushing has to be set at a specific depth, which is what the special tool does. I was able to swap the bushings quickly with that tool and sold it for a little over $100. The money spent was well worth it in time and effort.
