Question Wheel adapter question

Hello so as title says I was wondering if anybody has used wheel adapters I stumbled upon them while looking for rims as I mit have a lock on sum but they r 6 bolt and mine have 5 bolt x139.7 but I’ve never heard of these are they ok? Do they make ur wheels stick out ridiculously? And if anybody knows where to get sum for decent price but not junk? Thank you in advance for any info and have a good one.

Be best to pass over those 6 bolt with spacers and get refocused on finding the 5 bolt rims needed.

I have MotoMetal wheels on my 07 1500 and they are a universal wheel. There are multiple lug holes and you just turn the wheel until they line up.

Yea that’s how I felt at first but hard to find unless buying new I was gonna trade my Tahoe rims for dodge rims. But nobody around where I live seems to have any dodge rims sucks!! MIT have to just break down n get new pair so they fit right

and yea there’s a few I seen that have the universal pattern but there either 6 bolt or 8 lots of 8 bolt

You can get adapters on amazon, they seem good quality but I have never used them myself.
You will need to get familiar with offset, backspacing, and track, if you're not already. In short, higher offset (ET) brings the wheel in more. You just can't exceed backspacing limits. You also don't want to increase track width by more than 10 percent.
Dodge recommends offset range of 0-25.4mm.
