Default Wobble fix- what year?

I want to get a new to me Ram. My current Ram is a 2004, and it has the wobble, which I fixed with a steering box stabilizer. Would rather avoid that this time. I thought I read somewhere that the frame had been redesigned to eliminate the problem. What model year did that happen?

sorry i cant answer your question but i can say death wobble is real and scary. i experienced it a few times in my 96 jeep zj. fixed what i think was the source and sold it asap after that. i dont want to own a solid front axle again because of that experience.

I would get the truck you like, and just put another stabilizer kit on it, if need be.

I've come to that conclusion Mike. Prices for upgrades don't seem too bad at all. I know it was reasonable in by 2003, which I only added the steering box stabilizer. The newer suspensions may take more but still won't drive the cost too much.
