Default How do recalls work exactly?

Does it only count for newer vehicles?
My 2004 has 2 recalls on it, and I'm clearly not the original purchaser.......so would I be able to take my truck to the dealership to have those recalls fixed without paying out of pocket?

Recalls are forever, and it doesn't matter if you are the original owner or not. So, yeah, take it in, dealer will fix it. No charge.
