AC Question
Hey everyone,
I have 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L. The other day I had the truck in park with the AC on and it was causing a very rough idle along with the air blowing hot. When I have the truck in drive, the AC seems to work just fine and the truck idles normally regardless of whether the AC is on or off. Does anyone know what the issue could be?
Thank you

Could be faulty ac condenser fan. Start the truck and turn ac on high, then see if the fan is turning.
Even if it is condenser fan, that doesn't explain the rough idle. You ac coil could be going out, or you are low on refrigerant. You need a multimeter to check the coil, and a gauge to check the LP refrigerant charge.
