Default Help with tps sensor!!!

Over a month ago i changed tps sensor on 2004 ram 4.7. I am starting to notice that when i start the truck up it jumps to about 1500 rpms then drops to 1000 rpms where it takes it almost a minute for it to drop to around 500-600 rpms gradually. I unplugged the battery when i put the tps on and i turned the tps sensor about 1/8 of an inch when i reinstalled it. What could be causing this issue?

Normal. The engine flares at startup, just to ensure that it starts. Then the PCM will bring idle down. It won't go down to 'typical' idle speed until the engine gets close to operating temp.
