throttle body spacer
A throttle body spacer is a huge waste of money. Like 2005 daytona said go wth a Superchip programmer, there is a group buy on them over on Dodgetalk for 365 shipped for the Superchip #3815....I figure I would tell people since this is the cheapest I ever found them for...I do know they are talking about ending it soon, so I would jump on the deal......

It is a good idea on throttle body injection or carbs. Both of which haven't been produced on new cars in over 10 years (TBI). All it does is take your money and give you a nice whistling sound.
Bingo (to the responders above)!
If it were that simple to improve performance (defined any way you want), you don't think Chrysler would be doing it? Duh!
The fact that a spacer comes with the Chrysler "factory" aftermarket intake package (which some have noted--erroneously--as a reason to add one) just means that Chrysler gets a package from someone else, rebrands it, and resells it. Besides, the spacer is dirt cheap to make and adds some face validity to the package and its exorbitant price ("Ooh, another piece for the price!").
Put the money into the proper grade gas.
All the best.
