Default 2003 Ram 1500 4.7 V8

2003 Ram 1500I just changed the t-stat and refilled with coolant. Ran until hot. I have bled the line for quite some time and still getting air. How long should it take to get all the air out?

The only reason I ask is because recently towing my trailer the radcap blew off. I don’t know if it was due to a faulty cap or because the t-stat was stuck open.. I haven’t pulled anything since but ran it and no issues. I have read some threads talking about a head leaking into the cooling system causing pressure. Didn’t know if excessive bubbles would be a sign of that or not....hope not lol thanks for any help!
