I wired up a pioneer radio a few weeks back and i wired the illumination wire up(orange with white stripe) when i did that when i started my headlights,running lights, and dash lights came on and off repeatedly so i took the dash back apart and cut that wire when i did everything went back to normal except my brights wont come on when i turn them on the lights just shut off

2006 3500 cummins and i did i went back in and cut the illumination wire and it went back to normal except for my brights dont work now and wiring harnesses
