Default Wheel hub or seal?

After returning from a 500 mile round trip I noticed that my truck was making a clunking sound from the driver's side from wheel area. I figured it was the hub since I've had it happen on an explorer I used to have.

When I looked behind the wheel there is a lot of fluid around the hub, on the tire, and everything else in that general location. I'm almost certain the noise is the hub going out but what about the oil? Is it related to the hub or am I looking at a possible seal issue as well? 06 2500 5.7. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, check the wheel bearing. check the front suspension and axle u-joints. if the axle u-joint is bad it can damaged the axle seal
