Can't figure it
Problem....O2 lite comes on periodically (upstream Driver side) so I replaced it, ok for short time. So had catalytic replaced and new sensor, ok for a while then came on. Normal driving (city) but when I gas on it, it'll come back on. Then I found loose bolt at the donut seal, tighten. seemed to last longer but lite came back on......so what is up?????
next question....don't want to get into the internals but would long tube headers and cold air intake make at difference??? if so what brand of header? all ready got my cold air intake.
BTW.......... I have an 04' Ram 1500 5.7L Laramie 2-door.
Remember if you can't Dodge it............RAM IT!

What code are you getting? There is a selection of O2 sensor codes.....
CAI doesn't really do anything for you.
Pretty much any brand header is going to be better than the stock manifold. Shortie headers are direct bolt in, and are supposedly better for low- to mid-range torque. Long tubes are better for top end power.

Can't figure it.....
Code is P0420..........this is troubling, primary thing reading blogs is (Catalytic) , "Catalyst System Efficiency Bank 1 " and recommend a change out of catalytic. I did this a few month back when lite stared coming on, to also replacing sensors. And the loose bolt, which helped but still lite come back on. So I see where an O'scope of the sensors comparison would decide cat is bad, mine you this will cost for a diagnostic check. so I will put another cat in.........SMH!
