Might be throttle position sensor or you are losing fuel or spark. Diagnosing problems like this when I worked at the Dodge garage was very tricky as you get no information when it shuts down. So we would literally just throw parts at it. To me seems like either a sensor is failing or bad coil(s). When does it do this? When the engine is hot? When the weather is hot?

I had this happen to me once after about 2+ hours on the Autobahn. I exited into this little village, and as I was slowing down the truck just shut off. After a few minutes I was able to get it restarted, but haven't had any sort of issues like that since then. The code that popped was for EGR, which I promptly replaced. I've had an intermittent CEL for the EGR, but no further total loss of power problems.
