2000rpm on cold start

2000rpm on cold start

I have a 2016 Ram 1500 5.7 liter. On cold start up after setting all night it will go to 2000 RPM on start up. Is this right? Seems awful high to me. It will eventually go down 800 RPM.

If it just spikes to around 2K, and then immediately settles down, that's probably ok. Is this a new-to-you truck? Or is this behavior a recent development?
