Call me crazy but i,m going to try to put an 06 dash in my 01 3500. Any pointers or any reason you cant do this. All I need to work is the gauges and speedo. Heat and a/c will be a plus but not nessasary. My dash disentegrated and i picked this one up cheap.any dash wiring diagrams would be appreciated.I already know this wont be easy. I have more time than money.I only use this to pull a trailer occassionally or my camper trailer. Not a daily driver.

 

In the 2nd gen ram section, there was a thread by a member doing a hemi swap. He took the dash out of the third gen, and install it in his 2nd gen. Might wanna check out that thread. But, to answer the question, yes, it IS doable.
