Audio file posted. the noise goes away after about 30-45 minutes but comes back when truck cools down

Looking for a part for my 2004 dodge ram 1500 4.7 4x4

its called a tranny cover shield

Seems part has been discontinued and trying to find a good used one. I live in Boston Ma and tranny place says the one in there is rusted and warped and needs to be replaced.
Would anyone know where to get one or a good used one the tranny has to be pulled to get the cover shield out.

Hitting junk yards is probably your best bet, unless you can find one NOS.

 

I did find one and on it way already shipped from Maine
