Default P2096 code

Hi,
I'm new to the forum. My truck has been throwing me and intermittent p2096 code after I installed new catalytic converters and bank 1 downstream o2 sensor. My guess is an exhaust leak on the bank 1 catalytic converter. The thing I don't understand is that it is intermittent. I can drive the truck for a half hour with no code, not even pending, as I have my scan took with me. Other times I can drive it for a while and the code shows up as pending.
thanks for any advice.

I would be tempted to change the pre-cat sensors...... It's possible they are running the engine lean..... and just don't know it.

Default P2096 code

Was thinking of that. I think bank 1 upstream is a bit lazy.

Have the spark plugs and coil pack boots been replaced every 30K miles? Only use the copper plugs in these trucks. No platinum or magic multiple electrode VooDoo miracle plugs.
