My 03 does that from time to time. Never had a problem with anything though.

Happened twice to me. Seems that I didn't have the reverse lever all the way engaged since as I went to shift back into park, the lever popped down into place and went into reverse.

I haven't had thet problem, what I've had is it sometimes sounds like a brake drum dragging, but from the trans/transfer case area when I'm in reverse. Haven't taken it in for that yet.

Mine does it sometimes but only when I first start it and don't give it enough time to circulate. I've found if you will wait about 20-30 seconds (longer if cold) it will go right in gear everytime. It's good practice to do this anyway.

I aswell have this problem on my 2005 Ram 1500 Hemi and it still does it even if I wait a couple soconds or even minute before putting it into reverse. I have been really diapointed by my Dodge because this isn't the only problem I have had with it. I have taken it to the dealership many times and they try to fix it each time but the problem keeps happening.
