After years of dealing with an obvious issue that showed itself as no control over the rear door speakers while using the fader, the new found problem is now sound fading from the left channel then coming back. I took it to a local audio shop who tore into it and said the interface installed by the previous owner was actually the wrong one all along. He said this is why when I fade to the rear, there's no sound, and might explain the new sound issue that comes and goes mysteriously.

I ordered the right part and now have totally forgotten how to get to the stereo head. I have searched google like crazy but none of the tutorials or videos show the center console like mine that has the wooden look around the cup holders and accessory pockets near the dash and a huge open compartment near the actually double center flip up console.

So all I need as of right now is getting the dash apart to access the stereo to swap the interface
