Well as far as the amp goes- why not under the driver or passenger seat? Or for that matter, under the back seats they have some great storage space. But if your gonna put some subs in, the rear seat storage is an AWESOME place for two 10" subs. And the cd changer, i have never installed one so i dont know about that, but maybe under the storage compartment under the front center seat. EASY access.

I too have a question along the stereo issue. I'm looking to replace the in dash unit with a new unit. So far, what I've found, nothing fits. The fit guides I've checked out say most units won't fit. i.e., Alpine, kenwood, pioneer.
Can anybody help with what might fit. I have an 03 1500 qc. Stock has the infinity sound system.

well cbrewer, i have installed two different kenwoods in two different dodges. all you really need is an installation bracket and it should fit just fine. go to your local best buy or circuit city and tell them you need an installation bracket for your specific truck. Really anything should fit.

cbrewer954, you can also try crutchfiled.com They can tell you exactly what will fit in your truck as far as head units and speakers. They also have better deals than best buy or circuit city and you can get the free installation kit with the stereo. It is definately worth looking into.
