Step bars

I have a 2004 Ram 2500 4x4 quad cab. I have been doing some repairs and upgrades. It's time to replace the step bars. I like the ICI magnum and another one by Westin called HDX. However it seems the ones I like only fits 2009 and newer. Does anyone know the difference in mounting location. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated thanks Jr

I called II they were clueless as to the mounting locations and if they were the same

I would guess pinch weld and somewhere on the frame
