Alright sorry for the no reply for a long time. I never determined what the issue was. Last year we had a very cold winter in Montana and by the time I started tinkering with the issue spring came it warmed up and the problem went away. I have the same truck this year but haven't had any problems (related to the starting issue). Hehe
