2008 spare tire issue

I bought a 2008 dodge Ram 4dr 4x4 with the stock 20" wheels. What came with the truck originally for a spare tire? The center hole is to small to get the spare tire carrier thru to hang under the truck.. Thanks in advance..

1500 or 2500 ?
it should say what spare is used on the tire placard sticker on the door b pillar or door. what measurement do you have for the hole on the wheel in question?

20" steel wheel, with the regular goodyear wrangler on it.
