Here are a few pics of the swap,engine mounts were from 2500 engine,this was the worst problem we faced trying to figure out why engine would not fit.Getting the alum bell housing and old block to seperate was an issue.Was solved with candle wax pounded into dowel pin line ups and heat.Finally popped free after many cans of penatrating oil,putty knives .Also hidden bolt on air conditioner condenser unit ,look for that bolt on top of engine,sure hides itself.Using the bolts at back of heads to attach lift chains like we saw on you tube is very dangerous.We ended up using a large strap plus chain,as engine damage can happen quite easily.Plus you can tighten strap to get that tilt needed.Marking every part taken off and putting into sandwich bag was great idea for novice guys like me.
